I have been working on this for several years. 

This is a space available cargo optimization system that uses a LIDAR camera to measure the unused cargo capacity of freight carriers and sells the unused space in real time. 

The route optimization has been a real pain in that you have to balance the time/space issues along a truck route through a round earth which you would think would be relatively easy but in practice it is quite hard. 

The IOT sensor that updates the space available, time, temperature, and visual camera feeds wasnt terribly difficult but writing the point-map system that measures the capacity in real time then feeding that into a weight allowance caused me some difficulty. 

The routing and mapping are done through a hybrid system of PostGIS routing and loop functionality to optimize and match every load to the nearest capacity without using AI matching. 

Its a fun project but who knows if I will ever get finished. It is pretty much ready for Alpha testing now but i dont have time to buy a semi-truck to work the bugs out while hauling freight. 

I havent delivered cargo in years. Hope I still remember how.
